Welcome to Atlas, a digital marketplace connecting micro-sellers, hobbyists, independent creators, and buyers of handmade and original products. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. REGISTRATION & USER ACCOUNTS
1.1 Eligibility
Users must be 18 years or older to create an account, make purchases, or sell on the platform.
1.2 Account Creation
You must provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.

Atlas reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate community guidelines or Terms.
2. BUYING & SELLING ON ATLAS
2.1 Marketplace Platform
Atlas acts as a facilitator between buyers and independent micro-sellers. Ownership of products remains with the respective sellers.
2.2 Seller Eligibility
Only individuals or micro-businesses selling handmade, original, or small-batch crafted items can sell on Atlas. (As described in the company vision and policies. )
2.3 Dropshipping Policy
Strictly prohibited.
Any seller found dropshipping, reselling mass-produced items, or misrepresenting products will be immediately removed from the platform.

3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS & ALLOWED VARIATIONS
Because Atlas supports handcrafted, small-batch creators, buyers acknowledge and agree that minor variations will occur.
3.1 Acceptable Variations (Not Eligible for Refunds/Returns)
The following natural differences are not considered defects:

4. ORDERING, PAYMENT & PLATFORM FEES
4.1 Placing an Order
Once an order is placed, it is forwarded to the seller for processing.
4.2 Payment
Payments are collected via authorized third-party payment gateway ie. Razorpay.
4.3 Platform Fees
A small platform fee may be charged to buyers per order.
4.4 Seller Commission
Atlas will not charge a commission for the first 3 months of its operations and will start charging 15% commission on sale of every product from the 4th month onwards. Sellers will be informed about the commissions before the 15% commission starts getting charged.
5. DELIVERY, SHIPPING & FAILED DELIVERY
5.1 Delivery Responsibility
Orders are shipped by partnered delivery services ie. Shiprocket. Delivery timelines vary based on seller location and courier operations.
5.2 If Delivery Is Not Completed or Buyer Rejects Delivery

7. SELLER POLICIES & PENALTIES
7.1 Warnings & Bans
Atlas uses a 3-warning system for sellers:

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on Atlas—including logos, brand elements, design, UI/UX elements, copy, and creative layout—is protected by copyright and trademark laws. Users may not copy, republish, or reproduce any content without permission.
Sellers retain ownership of their original creations but grant Atlas permission to display, market, and promote their listings.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Atlas is not responsible for:

11. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
Atlas may suspend or terminate accounts for:

12. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
Atlas reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance.
